CraftLab 2026CraftLab 2026
Before you begin

A few honest words about what's ahead.

You are being proctored.

Your session is monitored end-to-end. We record screen activity, periodic webcam snapshots, microphone ambient audio, tab/window focus, copy-paste events, and timing patterns. Switching tabs, opening another window, or leaving the page repeatedly will be flagged in your report. There is no penalty for thinking — only for trying to game the room.

Use Chrome or Safari. Latest version.

Firefox, Brave, in-app browsers (LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp) and older Edge builds are not supported and may break mid-session. If something feels off, switch to Chrome and reload.

Use a laptop or desktop.

The simulation is designed for a keyboard, a real screen, and a stable connection. Phones and tablets will technically load it, but the decision moments, the board, and the brief are not built for touch. Find a quiet room and 90 uninterrupted minutes.

Camera, microphone, and a stable connection.

Grant camera and microphone permissions when prompted. Sit in reasonable light. Use wired internet or strong Wi-Fi — if you drop, we resume where you left off, but repeated disconnects affect your record.

Do this alone.

No collaborators, no second device, no AI assistant in another tab. The point of CraftLab is to see how you think under pressure. Bringing an LLM to a thinking test is the one shortcut we always catch.
